The Relationship of Work-Related ICT Use With Well-being, Incorporating the Role of Resources and Demands: A Meta-Analysis

An understanding of the overall relationship between work-related use information and communication technology (ICT) employees’ well-being is lacking as rising number studies has produced mixed results. We meta-analytically synthesize integrate existing literature on consequences ICT based job demands-resources model. By using meta-analytical structural equation modeling 63 independent ( N = 26,295), we shed light (operationalized burnout engagement) in a model that incorporates mediating role ICT-related resources demands. Results show opposingly related to engagement through autonomy, availability, work-life conflict.
